ABOUT MY SERVICES
I offer my services on all types of guitar eg. electric, acoustic, bass, and any other variation of guitar out there. Just as importantly, I cater for the customer personally. I can and will explain anything you don't understand (I am aware this page contains a lot of jargon!) and will happily recommend a solution to your guitar-related needs.
BASIC SETUP - £55
Humidity and weather fluctuations throughout the year, believe it or not, cause the wood in guitars to shrink, grow and shift slightly, which can lead to fret buzz, tuning problems and in severe cases, unplayability. The basic setup is a service I would recommend on a 6 monthly basis (as the seasons change) to alleviate this problem. I check and adjust the action, the truss rod, and the intonation to ensure your guitar comes back to you note perfect!
FULL SETUP - £70
The full setup is a premium service I offer for those who want to give their guitars the attention they deserve. It comes with everything the basic setup offers and much more,
including:
• Level, dress and polish frets
• Clean and oil fretboard (polished if Maple)
• Check, clean and lubricate electronics
• cut nut to correct height
• Set pickup heights
• Set intonation, action and truss rod
• Clean and lubricate bridge screws,adjust radius.
• Set Tremolo (if applicable)
• Check all hardware
• Full clean and polish
• Strings extra or supply your own.
I will happily adjust the guitar how you want it, to suit your playing style and preferences.
